Myotherapy is the evidence based assessment, treatment & rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions.

Utilizing a range of treatment techniques Myotherapy will restore and maintain the normal integrity of the soft tissue structures (muscle, tendons, ligaments and fascia).

Your therapist will employ soft tissue manipulation techniques, together with other modalities such as Emmett Technique, Deep Tissue Massage, Hot/Cold Therapies, Myofascial Cupping, Passive/Active Stretching, Cranio-Sacral Techniques & Corrective Exercises.

Muscular dysfunction or pain/injury can be caused by trauma, overload or misuse of muscles arising from occupational, sporting or recreational activities.

Myotherapy is a safe and supportive process affecting two types of receptors:- sensory and muscular.
Thus supporting the emotions held within the body to reconnect, allowing us to express who we are at the deepest level.

Emmett Technique – is a special form of body therapy that involves application of light finger pressure at specific points.

Cranio-Sacral Technique – is a gentle yet profound method for enhancing the function of the nervous system and returning balance and mobility to the entire body.

Pilates – A low impact exercise program that improves muscle control, flexibility, coordination and strength.
